Objectives
To develop fundamental basketball knowledge and skills while inculcating resilience, sportsmanship and teamwork in students.
Psychomotor and Cognitive:
To develop fundamental basketball skills and improve physical fitness.
To gain a deeper knowledge of basketball (rules, strategies) and apply them in training.
Affective, Social and Communication skills:
To build students’ character by inculcating resilience, sportsmanship and teamwork.
To develop leadership qualities and practise conflict resolution.
Description
The Basketball CCA aims to develop students' fundamental basketball knowledge and skills while fostering resilience, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Through fun-filled training, the CCA seeks to build students’ character, helping them grow both as athletes and individuals and at the same time, enhancing their basketball abilities and physical fitness. Students will also gain a deeper understanding of basketball’s rules, strategies, and game dynamics, applying them in practice and play.
