Description
The Art and Crafts Club allows students with a shared interest in art to gather and create art. Students will explore and experience different art forms. Activities include both individual and group projects that are usually not covered during Art lessons.
Art & Crafts Club students develop their creativity, self-expression and understand artistic concepts and ideas. Learning journeys will be organised to increase students’ awareness and appreciation for the Arts. Students will acquire art vocabulary to express their opinions or when talking about art.

Making of Art Club T-shirts using Shibori method (tie & dye)
Drawing and Painting techniques
Printmaking
Ceramics using hand-building techniques (pinching and coiling)
Setting up Virtual Art Gallery Exhibition (Seniors and club leaders)
Online Arts appreciation with local museums/galleries
Art Charity Sale to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Association of Singapore
Participation & Achievements
2017 - SYF ART EXHIBITION Category B artwork selected for Art Exhibition *SCAPE the Ground Theatre and obtained Certificate of Recognition.
2019 - SYF ART EXHIBITION Category C artwork selected for Art Exhibition at National Museum of Singapore and obtained Certificate of Recognition.
2021 - SYF ART EXHIBITION Category A & C artworks selected to be exhibited on the Online Art Exhibition and obtained Certificates of Recognition.
