Expectations of Eliasians
(1) School Rules
Students must attend the flag-raising and pledge-taking ceremony and stand at attention.
Students who are Singapore Citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will take the Pledge with the right fist over the heart.
Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modifications to the uniform are not allowed.
All students are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is used or intended to be used to cause harm to others.

(2) School Creed
As an Eliasian,
I will use the right voice and the right action at the right time.
I will be responsible for my own decisions and actions.
I will not give up in the face of difficulties.
I will make it possible for others to learn.
I will treat everyone with respect and appreciate our cultural diversity.
(3) Reporting Time
Flag-raising ceremony will commence at 7.30 a.m. Therefore, all students must report to school by 7.25 am.
Guidelines for Appearance of Eliasians
School Uniform
General
Fringe must not touch the eyebrows
Shirt/Blouse must not be tucked in
Name tag above the badge
Fully white school shoes and socks above the ankles
No ankle socks
No jewellery/accessories
No dyeing, highlighting, or perming of hair
Boys
School badge on the pocket
Hair must be short, neat and evenly cut
Sloped and short at the back
Short sideburns
No fanciful hairstyles
Male students must be clean-shaven and neat in appearance. Beards and moustaches are not allowed.
Girls
School badge on the left
Shoulder length hair must be neatly tied up
Only plain black or navy blue hair accessories can be used
Only a pair of small plain earrings/studs can be worn
PE Attire
General
T-Shirt must not be tucked in
Name tag on the left
